Who invented ITCHEEZ?
ITCHEEZ was invented by a loving dog owner who couldn't stand to see her dog suffer daily from flea bite allergies,
grass and weed allergies and food allergies all of which caused him to scratch, bite and chew at hot spots on his back
and tail. Allergy medications could only provide some relief and the cruelty of a cone collar was more than she could
stand. The idea of covering the affected areas seemed to show promise and after nearly two years of development and
trial, ITCHEEZ is now available to the public.
Why does ITCHEEZ cover my dog's tail?
ITCHEEZ was originally designed for dogs who suffer from allergies and "hot spots". Often these affect your pet's back
and tail area which can be chewed raw when an allergic reaction occurs. Enclosing the dog's entire body insures that
these sensative areas are covered.
Can my dog still move around wearing ITCHEEZ when his tail is covered?
Yes. ITCHEEZ patented design provides ample room to allow your dog's tail to move freely inside the garment without
hampering movement or balance.
Will ITCHEEZ keep my dog from developing hot spots?
No. ITCHEEZ does not claim to cure any allergies your pet might have. What it will do is help your dog through an allergy
attack by easing his discomfort.
If my dog has already started chewing and scratching can ITCHEEZ still help?
Yes. Our research had found that whether a dog has just begun to scratch or has been suffering for a long time ITCHEEZ
can break the cycle and allow your dog to calm down and rest in comfort.
Do I put ITCHEEZ on my dog only at night?
When you use ITCHEEZ is entirely up to you and your pet. Because his movements aren't hampered by wearing
ITCHEEZ your pet can walk, run and play as he normally would. If, like many pets, your dog seems most bothered by

"accident" while wearing his ITCHEEZ the 100% cotton garment is fully machine washable and dries quickly.
What is the easiest way to put ITCHEEZ on my dog?
Unzip ITCHEEZ completely; place your dogs front feet into the front legs, slip ITCHEEZ under your dog and guide the
back feet into the back leg openings. Pull ITCHEEZ up at the chest, pull the back up over the tail, making sure that the
tail is out of the way of the zipper and that no fur can be caught, then zip ITCHEEZ closed from tail to neck. The large
sized zipper helps to insure that it is easy to open and close. With some medium and larger breed dogs it may be helpful
to sit with the dog, one arm around their body while you put on their ITCHEEZ.
How do I know what size ITCHEEZ to order?
ITCHEEZ are sized by length. Measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Are custom sized ITCHEEZ available?
No. ITCHEEZ are available in five sizes and in five extra-long sizes. This should allow you to select a size that will
be most comfortable for your pet.
Where are ITCHEEZ manufactured?
ITCHEEZ are manufactured right here in the United States, in south Florida, the home of our mascot Barney.
Does ITCHEEZ have other benefits for my dog?
No health claims are made by the makers of ITCHEEZ. It was developed to help keep dogs from biting and scratching
at hot spots. However our customers have shared with us some new ways that ITCHEEZ has improved their pet's lives.
